I'm debating buying a small machinist lathe to custom make small brass parts or hire someone else to spin the brass. My needs are fairly simple. I want to make new valves for old oxy/acetylene torches. Some of the older torches are considered obsolete and therefore you cannot buy replacement parts for them any longer. Glad to pay someone cash or barter my tools and services.
