Do you love cats? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that makes a real impact on lives? Are you are responsible, reliable, and able to volunteer 2-4 times a month? If so, we really need your help in our northwest-side adoption center! Vets for Abandoned Pets (VFAP) is a 100% volunteer-run cat rescue that saves the lives of over 350 cats annually by providing loving foster care, critical medical treatment, spay/neuter/vaccinations, and finally adoptions to amazing homes. We are all here because we love cats and want to make a difference for the homeless/abandoned cat and kitten population of Las Vegas. Not to mention, we are a pretty darn awesome group of folks to get to know! We are currently looking for volunteers available to help on weekdays. Shifts are generally 10:00am- 2:00pm or so, and duties include day-to-day cleaning, basic cat care, and lots of socializing and playtime! Thorough training is provided.
