4601 North Rancho dr near Craig/Rancho, Las Vegas NV
Description
Do you have a spare bedroom, bathroom, or other area in your home that you can temporarily open up to a cat or kittens in need? Then consider fostering! Fostering essentially expands the space in shelters and provides kittens with safe, healthy spaces to develop and grow while they get big enough to be spayed or neutered. Kittens need care and social interaction to become healthy, loving pets which is just not possible in a kennel in a shelter.Fosters are critical to animal rescues by providing this essential care.
Fostering is a rewarding and fulfilling way to volunteer and give back to your local animal rescue community. Vets for Abandoned Pets depends on a team of fosters to help us care for and socialize kittens in their homes before they go to adoptions. We can provide training and supplies, as well as ongoing support and advice from our whole foster team. Some of your responsibilities will include:
• General feline care
• Playtime and socialization
• Administering medications as directed
• Providing photos and information about personalities
• Transporting between your home, the veterinary/clinic, and the adoption center
