We are Looking to Hire a Mechanic to work in our Equipment Rental Business. Prepare equipment for future rentals, and repair all equipment as needed, using engine, electrical, and welding skills as needed. apply troubleshooting techniques needed to repair all equipment. assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe workplace. assist customers in proper usage of equipment rented, and load and unload customers as well. assist delivery staff with loading and unloading equipment on and off delivery trucks. This job can be physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and stamina. Long periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects. House of Rental is a full service Party, Event, Tool & Equipment Rental company with locations in Skokie, Wheeling & Glenview, established in 1969 serving Chicago and the northern suburbs. We are looking for a level 2 mechanic and shop technician for our Wheeling location to participate in the maintenance and repair of internal construction equipment. Electrical, carpentry and welding knowledge is necessary. You will train with our current 33 year mechanic & managed by a 28 year manager at the Wheeling location, 318 N. Milwaukee ave, Wheeling, IL.
