Columbia Building Services, located in NE Minneapolis, has been providing commercial high rise window cleaning services for over 100 years! We are seeking a Shop Technician to join our team. This position is full time and year-round, 7:00AM to 3:30PM Candidate must pass a background check and have a clean drivers license. PLEASE ATTACH RESUME • The right candidate must have minor repair/maintenance of equipment such as lawn mowers, snow equipment ect. Valid Drivers License Required. • Will drop off/pick up crew and equipment daily (Must have calid Drivers License in good standing) • Will assist with diagnosing mechanical problems and perform repairs with general supervision to start • Will display how to operate equipment and tools involved in shop/vehicle repairs • Assist other mechanic with minor and major repairs • Demonstrate the process of preventive maintenance and visual inspections to assist other mechanics. • Vacuum and general cleaning of all interiors of above trucks at our shop • Maintains shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance • Weekly washing of vehicles • Weekly maintenance of trailers and equipment shall be power washed, and hand cleaned at the shop using company owned power wash units • Weekly mowing of two buildings Benefits • We pay individual medical 100%!
