Hello, I have a gig in Colorado Springs taking care of an elderly man. However, the only obstacle I have is how to get there. I'm legally blind while my current housemate, a former taxi car driver, might not be able to drive because he just returned home from the hospital this past Monday and isn't supposed to be driving for another few months. Also, he doesn't think he can fit 3 suitcases and a few boxes in his car, which would mean I'd have to make two trips. The gentleman I'll be housemates with is willing to pick me up, however, he's 86 years old and I feel the drive might be too strenuous. If you travel to Colorado Springs often and/or have a van or pickup truck I would like to hear from you. I'm planning on leaving this Saturday, September 3rd. However, I am a bit flexible, providing transportation is coordinated with my new housemate. It's a 2 hour drive each direction.and I am open to carpooling.
