I'm looking for a couple of reliable and trustworthy individuals (roadies) to be a part of my crew helping set up and break down a lighted dance floor and other equipment for a show Saturday, September 3rd near Keene. My shows are unlike anything anywhere. I expect complete professionalism for an exclusive client. Read everything before replying! The job will consist of unloading and assembling 4' x 4' panels weighing 40lbs each along with other sound and lighting equipment needed for the show. It will need to be picked up and loaded back into my trailer on Monday morning. I want a couple of strong people who are not slackers, complainers, and know how to be on time. Pay is $30/hr cash per person. I will need you for about 3-4 hours starting at 11AM on Saturday to set up and then you will need to come back Monday morning at 10AM for about another 2 hours to pick it up. You will be paid in cash on MONDAY after it has been picked up and loaded back into my trailer. If this doesn't work don't bother replying. This guarantees me you will show up. I will not have any cash on hand Saturday so don't ask. If you're in Keene close to the job location it's an easy gig. I prefer replies from separate individuals but will consider a team if you can convince me of your reliability. I usually don't rely on one response telling me they will bring a team. This guarantees me at least someone will show up. Pay is very good for pretty simple work. Move the equipment in and set up as instructed, then break down. Easy enough. I've been doing this for 30+ years. Unfortunately craigslist labor can often yield less than desirable results and I always get lots of interesting responses. The nasty replies are comical at best. People have told me how great they are and then showed up drunk and stoned. If you smell like booze or look wasted you will be asked to leave.
