We are looking for a physically fit, responsible individual to move furniture by loading items into and out of moving trucks. Our movers are responsible for helping to transport clients belongings to new location. Also responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. To be successful as a mover you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. You should also be able to plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the moving truck. Mover Responsibilities: Wrap furniture in protective material. Load, pack and unload items with care. Ensure that no items are damaged while moving. Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location. Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation. Mover Requirements: Physically fit. Punctual and professional. A high school qualification or equivalent would be preferable. Must have clean driver's license without accidents or tickets. Must have a transportation Must have 2 years of moving experience Must have attention to detail Must take pride in your work Great Customer service skills are needed Must be a self starter Must be able to follow directions, systems, and processes Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Must be organized and precise Must be proficient with tools and power tools Must have integrity Must have references Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test Must be able to pass a background test Opportunities for growth within company!
