Job description Responsible for the complete, thorough, and efficient activities involving the maintenance and mechanical function of both the interior and exterior facility conditions. Assures preventative maintenance schedules and repairs are done on an on-going basis. Troubleshoots problems and resolves them in a timely manner and maintains the facility in good working order. Assists with general production duties as needed. Core Responsibilities • Maintain general updated schedule of repair and maintenance for machinery and equipment • Repair or rebuild simple machine tooling • Diagnose problems, disassemble to determine needed repairs, proceeds with repairs • Regular schedule of examination and preventive maintenance of machinery or mechanical equipment to identify reason for malfunction • Ensures safety features, guards and procedures are observed • Research needed parts or service repair vendors to determine most competitive quote • Enforces good housekeeping practices in immediate work area as well as common areas • Advise Production Executive of problems in early stages to prevent disruption of work • General building maintenance including on-going repairs of facilities. Some of those responsibilities may include but are not limited to repairing doors, locks, windows, lights, office furniture and plumbing • Cleanup of landscaping, exterior grounds work as needed • Designs and constructs carpentry items requested by other departments. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 2 years specialized vocational technical training or 2 years’ experience as a manufacturing or industrial maintenance • Must have strong organization skills and be able to multi-task several functions at once • High level of mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting ability • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance • Able to represent MarkMaster, Inc. during installations and make adjustments as necessary on site to complete the job • Good written and verbal communication skills • Basic computer skills • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check • Possess valid driver’s license and insurance with driving record acceptable to MarkMaster insurance requirements Working conditions • Able to perform duties in a fast paced environment with specific deadlines • Able to work Monday thru Friday, 8 hour days with availability for overtime Physical requirements • Must be able to stand for 5-6 hours each day; perform general physical activity • Able to regularly lift, move and place items up to 50lbs. • Manual dexterity, finger dexterity to grasp, manipulate and assemble small objects Compensation • $18/hour Schedule • Monday – Friday • Day Shift All positions come with the following opportunities after new hire waiting period: • Paid Vacation • Paid Holiday • Health, Dental, Vision and Supplemental Insurance options with Great Employer contributions. • Employer Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability • 401K Employer Matching If you are interested in the position, please email us or come to our office to complete an application.
