We are a retired couple in east Snohomish county (big time dog lovers) with large fenced in back yard, fenced in front yard and decades of dog ownership looking to adopt a small breed puppy or small breed dog up to 1 or 2 years old. Lost our beloved little Schnauzer-Cocker mix of 12 years to cancer in May and without a dog in the house this place is like a mausoleum. We’ve got lots of time, love and attention and a stable home environment to offer a new addition to the family. Being on limited, fixed incomes as most retirees are we cannot afford hundreds of dollars in a re-homing fee. We’re looking for a dog that is healthy and up to date on shots that will grow to no larger than 35 to 40 pounds or so, in that neighborhood. Sorry we cannot do pit bulls, mastiffs, dobermans, German shepherds and similar large breeds or chihuahuas (a little too nervous & barky for us). Other than that, open to any possibility. If you have the type of dog we seek and can no longer keep it due to health, moving, divorce or other reasons please consider us. We have given all our dogs over the years 110% of our time, love and attention. You’re little guy could not find a better home. Please email pics, brief description, re-homing fee requested.
