Rescued Goldie-she is 8-9 months old -retriever mix (unknown). Please help me re home this sweet pup! Helped take her in due to my friend not being able to keep her. He had to return home to help rebuild his disabled mother’s home far away and wasn’t able to bring her along. He has only had her for about two months, so she did have one previous owner, who says she is up to date but I cannot confirm. The one owner before my friend said she was found on the side of the road when she was 2/3 months old. She was rescued from the street and nursed back to health then given to my friend. She has not started to heat yet. (Did not fix her at the request of my friend who was supposed to come back for her but now can’t 🥹 - willing to pay when someone can take care of her - also super busy schedule rn) I’ve had her for about almost a month now and have been taking care of her while trying to find a fun and sweet home for her! She is very much a puppy so she still jumps and gets super excited when she sees people, we’ve been working on telling her no/down/sit. She is a big foodie and sniffs for all the crumbs. She is kennel trained and leashed trained. We’ve taken her to the ocean and a few parks. She’s sweet and has a lot of wonder in her eyes. She does good so far with other animals and playful. Minimal contact w/ other animals, needs more social time. She still needs training and love! I can’t keep her much longer due to crazy work hours & future trips. I would love for her to go to a home instead of a shelter. She’s a big cuddle bug! We have acquired kennel, leash, elevated dog bowl, car seat /kennel cover, dog bed and any remaining food/treats all for Goldie and her new home 🐾
