Join us for a fun night of Candle Making 101. You will learn a little about how Olfaction got started, how it's changed along the way, why we work with the materials we do, the science of candle making and of course- mixing your own scent and making one uniquely for you (see notes on label below). Doors open at 6pm for sipping & snacking and 'class' will start promptly 6:20pm. For timing purposes, lecture and mixology take about one hour. Typically after class, we all linger/snack/sip for another hour while the candles go from a liquid to a solid so they can be properly transported home with you that evening. If you have to leave promptly after class or before they have hardened, that's perfectly fine. They can also be picked up at a later time of your choosing. BYOB & snacks ^we have cups, plates, napkins and a wine key on premise More important notes below. Label: as you purchase your ticket, you will notice a few questions in regards to your label choice. You can choose to customize or you can choose a generic Olfaction label. If you choose to customize the text on your label- please view the 'Label Guide' photo in the invite and use that to help answer the prompted questions as you sign up. Seating: let us know in the questionaire at the end if there are others in your group you would like to be seated near! We try and do a little seating chart each class to keep it easy. Parking: there is a parking lot on the south side of the building- entrance to parking lot is on Beach St. (see map photo) Entrance: enter through the glass double doors marked 'A' on the South side of the building, off of Beach St. (see map photo) Attire: an apron will be provided to protect your clothing. You will be standing throughout class so wear whatever is comfortable on your feet.
