Join in on the fun and help support our local Lakeland Firefighters! You be the judge as you get to see, hear, taste, and most importantly help vote for the best burger, and crown the winning team! 3 teams will be paired with an Aprons Chef to prepare a tasty, creative burger. Come sample 3 burgers along with a unique side dish and delectable dessert---all paired with Josh Cellars wines! This dinner is benefitting the Lakeland Firefighters Benevolent Association (LFBA). This is a demonstration-style cooking class. This is a demonstration-style cooking class. Sit back, relax, and let our chefs do the cooking. Enjoy all of our delicious menu items and ask questions as we walk you through each recipe. Other details.Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of the class for a refund. Full payment for all classes is required at time of registration. Price includes recipes, demonstration, and samples of the food prepared. Wine is provided at most evening classes. You must be 21 years of age or older to drink alcoholic beverages. Drink responsibly. Publix may cancel classes not meeting enrollment standards, in which case any payment remitted will be refunded. In the beginning, he only made one wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, but soon thereafter began making a Josh Chardonnay for his wife, Dee. From day one, proceeds from Josh Cellars have been donated to various military, veteran, and firefighter groups. Today, Josh Cellars features 10 varietals and a premium Reserve collection of wines. In 2021, Josh Cellars was named American Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Josh Cellars is a negociant brand, so we don’t own a winery or any vineyards, much like some of the world’s greatest chateaux in Bordeaux & Burgundy. We do, however, work with California’s best growers to build a superior wine blend. Our winemaker spent over a decade making sparkling wine at one of the world’s largest and most prestigious champagne houses, where blending distinct lots is essential to making great wine. Those experiences make him uniquely qualified to source and assemble wine blends of great character and complexity, in the signature Josh Cellars style: fruit-forward and rich, with approachable tannins and a long finish. The startup of the LFBA was established with the idea to help out firefighters in their time of need and help with support programs in the areas of peer support, education, and wellness. Alongside of assisting firefighters, the LFBA also strives to help with community programs and projects to enhance the great city of Lakeland.
