Celebrating "Serenity in September", our second speaker series is an open forum for women who are sober, sober-curious, or interested in alternatives to alcohol. Join other like-minded women in the community for an open & honest conversation about the role that alcohol plays in our society while enjoying sophisticated spirit free cocktails provided by Sam Kasten of Umbrella Dry Drinks. Sam will be leading the discussion with topics ranging from the various marketing tactics used by Big Alcohol to specifically target women, the devastating effects of "Mommy Wine Culture" & so much more. Although there will be some suggested talking points, the purpose of this event is to create connections through conversation in a safe space; there is absolutely no requirement to share your thoughts with the group if you are not comfortable or ready, and we will welcome you with open arms & hearts if you would like to attend as a listener. Make sure to join us throughout the month of September for additional impactful discussions highlighting serenity through a spirit-free lifestyle. All events are free but do require tickets. Thursday, September 15th—The Mystic Chics, a family of female healers united in the use of energy & music medicine, mindful movement, and substance-free sacred ceremony. Thursday, September 29th— Martha Carucci Ticketed event featuring Martha Carucci as the keynote speaker
