Person for Odd Jobs around Family Building

Jobs

Quincy Street near Franklin ave, New York City NY

Description

My family owns a building and we're looking for someone to do odd jobs from time to time. Cleaning, Sweeping; moving things to the basement, taking out the trash/recycling, painting, shoveling snow. The building is 4 floors. It would be ideal if you live within these borders so you don't need a car or public transportation, since we may only need you for a few minutes sometimes: Park Ave to Atlantic Ave & Washington Ave to Lewis Ave. We had someone before who lived nearby that we paid $20 an hour, so we're looking for a similar relationship, with wiggle room depending on larger tasks. We pay in cash [or cashapp, venmo, zelle if we're not around/ in town]. I have some work that I need done asap: moving some items from the 4th floor to the basement| cleaning fridge, microwave, bathroom, hallway. If it goes well, we can explore more opportunities. If we're building a long-term relationship, we will need a copy of your driver's license or ID, NOT FOR TAXES, but for the security of the tenants/building. I work part-time in real estate and have no problem referring you to colleagues and other homeowners if your work is good. My main gig is marketing and if you're around long-term, I will help you market your services for free [b/c fck taskrabbit]. Reply and let me know if you're in the neighborhood and the kinds of work you do.
