Makkas Drapery Workroom is a fast-paced, family-owned custom workroom with a tradition of providing high quality craftsmanship and customer service to our clients. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, reliable Installation Assistant/Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the production and installation of draperies, shades and hardware in a safe, high quality and respectful manner; exercise meticulous precision at all times; communicate courteously and professionally; respond well to direction and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once; assist in the management of work flow on the production floor; and operate company vehicles in a safe manner. Must have experience with drills/small hand tools, be comfortable on ladders, be able to lift 50 pounds and possess a current driver's license. Portuguese language skills a strong plus.
