Established Modern Rock Band Seeks Bass Player For Next Level

Meets

New York City NY

Description

Talented and dedicated bass player sought for established, modern rock band to play out, record and film original and collaborative content. Libricide is a multi-faceted modern rock band and production house hailing from New York, USA. The group has been local hometown favorites for several years, performing regularly at venues such as The Chance Theater, The Bitter End, Gramercy Theatre and more. Their music is featured on radio nationwide including WSOU-Seton Hall Pirate Radio and WUSB among others, as well as in local, national and international press. Their videos and online content have also garnered hundreds of thousands of views across social media including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and more (with additional productions always in the works). We just released our brand new full-length album 'Consilience'- out everywhere Friday, April 8th! Major label-level recorded, mixed and mastered by Ted Jensen (Billy Joel, The Eagles, Green Day & MUCH more). We just returned from a festival in Atlantic City with Stone Temple Pilots, Chevelle, Hoobastank, Puddle of Mudd and more. We also have a TON of other great show offers lined up throughout NYC, the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and beyond. We are ALSO in the process of submitting to labels, for more radio and press, and festivals. We are currently looking for a bassist who “gets” us; our sound, approach, marketability and upward trajectory, and wants to be a team player and join us as a full member (no hired guns). Personality-wise the ideal teammate would be serious and experienced, but knows how to have fun and grow with everyone; has commitment in mind and understands what it takes to bring things to the next level. We are already entirely self-sufficient as a unit, so it helps to have someone with showbiz/production experience on the team as well. Professionally, please possess and be able to bring the following: • Able and open to playing any and all songs in the catalogue, as well as new material and covers based on the nature of the show/performance. • Be able to play different styles of popular music (rock, progressive, metal, alternative, pop, funk, hip-hop, etc) with great feel, finger/slap/pick as needed, alternate times, and to a click. • Ideally have their own audio recording rig and familiarity with video (we can support with this). • Promo: draw support for shows (both online and personal) and having your own online presence helps a lot (we regularly receive supplemental media from shows/photo shoots for everyone to use free-of-charge as well). • Transportation; a necessity for shows and rehearsal – though we do carpool and accommodate for overnight events! • Able to contribute to a four-piece production as needed. • Understanding the necessity of good communication and being a team player in all regards. • Late twenties to mid-thirties preferred. Please meet these requirements and have SAMPLES of your playing (doesn't have to be crazy high quality). The more knowledge of anything and everything related to music, the arts and the industry the better. Please take a couple and check us out online to learn more about the project too: https://www.libricide.com https://open.spotify.com/artist/7mwWvfYHOf6bIrvCH96hzE https://www.youtube.com/libricide https://www.facebook.com/libricide https://www.instagram.com/libricide If you have any questions, are interested, or know someone who might be, please don’t hesitate to reach out or forward this posting.
