Rick Kuss, Kitsap Co. candidate for Sheriff, and We The Female invite you to join us for a special education opportunity: Not a Victim: Defensive Mindset Now more than ever, we are realizing we are responsible for our own safety. Kerry Slone is a National self defense speaker/advocate & educator, published writer, domestic violence survivor, and founder of We The Female: a grassroots organization actively working to change the culture of victim mentality through education, confidence and self defense. This class will help you build a solid foundation for creating a defensive mindset. We will cover the importance of assertion, situational awareness fundamentals, as well as how to “retrain your brain” to prevent violent encounters; as well as touching on additional self defense options and your rights and responsibilities surrounding self defense. This is a complimentary community service event. Dinner will be served after class. All ages are welcome!
