Description

This is Sam. He’s a sweet and smart boy, he is a German shepherd/red heeler mix. He will be 16 weeks old on Wednesday. He knows sit, lay, up, paw and in-between. He will go into his kennel for bed time when you tell him time for bed. He is doing very well with potty training but will have an accident in the house if unsupervised for too long. The reason we can no longer keep him: he is not doing well with our cats. He seems to not have the patients for cats, he will try to play with them and if they run away he gets aggressive and will snap on them. He already attacked our cat twice in which I had to get him off of her. So he should not go to a home with cats. If he sees a cat in the distance or walks by one on walks he does not try to attack or bark nor seems aggressive. He is still learning to walk on a leash, he’s not a fan of it but does well walking on one if he’s in a harness. I will give you everything I have for him, harnesses, leashes, tie out, lots of toys, his next months flea meds, his food bowls and any food he has left. He is up to date on shots except rabies, which he has an appointment for on Sunday to get. We really hate to do this and have enjoyed this boy so much, but we feel this is the best option for the protection of ours cats. To ensure he goes to a good home his rehoming fee is $250. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you
