About our presenter, Beth Gardner from The Ohio State Nisonger Center:
Beth graduated from the University of Toledo with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2009. At the Nisonger Center, she leads a transdisciplinary team utilizing Family Guided Routines Based Interventions and following evidence based practices with children birth-5 years. Beth is trained in Project ImPACT (Improving Parents as Communication Teachers), has experience working with children on the autism spectrum, picky eaters, using PECS (picture exchange communication system), and believes in the importance of functional communication and social interactions. She enjoys helping families see their own strengths and bringing out new skills in their children.
