Description

On Saturday, September 17, we will host a rare and important beer festival celebrating traditional farmhouse ales and lagerbier. We will be joined by a bunch of our friends, who happen to be extremely talented brewers, to help celebrate the release of multiple new bottled Unfiltered Wild ales, a Helles lager, and the changing of the seasons. It’s going to be a really special day of tastings, great food, great music, and most importantly, great people. We hope you can join us! The Where: Saturday, September 17 @ Knotted Root Brewing Company, Nederland, CO The What: An invitational beer fest celebrating traditional beer styles, specifically Belgian Farmhouse Ales & Lagers. Only these specific styles will be poured at the event. The Who: We have invited a select group of some of our favorite brewers and friends who we feel excel at these particular styles. We wish we could have invited all of our friends, but for our first go round, we’re beyond excited about who’s joining us… - Amalgam Brewing (Denver, CO) - Backacre Beermakers (Denver, formerly Weston, Vermont) - Cellar West Artisan Ales (Lafayette, CO) - Cerebral Brewing (Denver, CO) - Circular Beer Co (Nederland, CO) - Cohesion Brewing (Denver, CO) - Howlin’ Wind Brewing & Blending (Rollinsville, CO) - Novel Strand Brewing (Denver, CO) - Outer Range Brewing (Frisco, CO) - Primitive Beer (Longmont, CO) - Westbound & Down (Idaho Springs & Lafayette, CO) - Wild Provisions (Boulder, CO) And of course, Good Ol’ Knotted Root! The Details: There will be two individual sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours. The times for these sessions are as follows: Session (A): 12:00 – 2:30 pm Session (B): 3:30 – 6:00 pm Purchase Tickets: Tickets for individual sessions will be available here beginning Wednesday, August 31 at 2pm MST. Music & Food: We are excited to have some talented musical artists who will be joining us for the day of the festivities! For the first session, we have the “Good for Nothin’ Thunder Mountain Boys,” a Denver-based bluegrass trio who will get your feet stompin’! Our second session will feature a local legend’s string band, “Black Dog & Friends String Band.” For food, we’ll have our dear friends Temaki Tornado serving up delicious sushi hand rolls, rice bowls, and other Japanese goodies! Raffle for Charity: During each session, we will be raffling off a goodie box featuring a mixed pack of beer & merch, all for a good cause! Dogs: Dogs will be welcome! Must be well behaved and leashed. Lodging: Knotted Root will not be able to assist with any lodging, but if you feel like spending the night in our beautiful mountain town, we highly recommend the Boulder Creek Lodge and the Sundance Lodge!
