Presented by the Town of Wakefield, register to join us for the Town of Wakefield Scavenger Hunt! Timeline: 8:30-9:00am - Registration at the Lower Common in Wakefield (across from Town Hall - 1 Lafayette Street). The Hunt will happen rain or shine. 9:00am - Welcome and rules overview 9:15am - The Scavenger Hunt kicks off! 11:45am - Deadline to turn in finished cards How to Play: Teams consist of 2-6 players. Players of all ages are eligible to play! Each participating team is given a card of clues at the start of the Hunt.Clues can be completed in any order they choose.Each clue will direct teams to a specific location in Wakefield where teams will perform a challenge.Upon completion of each site's challenge, the team captain must take a full-team photo and will be provided with a token.Play Categories: Only one registration is required per team. On the day of the Scavenger Hunt, each team will turn in a full roster of its players. Each team can register in one of two categories - Traditional Category - All teams in this category will utilize cars to travel between locations. Green Category - All teams in this category will not utilize cars at all to travel between locations and are eligible to win a bonus prize as the top placing Green team. *Given the geography covered in this Scavenger Hunt, teams participating exclusively on foot may not finish in the allotted time. Bicycles, scooters, or similar are suggested, but all team members must use only Green transportation methods. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with places awarded based on the order proof of completion is shared with Hunt organizers.
