Description

In this workshop we will be creating a beautiful (baseball size) pottery pumpkin. You will be provided with a personal tool kit, clay slab and hands on instruction. Various tools will be available for you to add the texture of your choice to the wet clay. Pumpkins will dry for a week before being bisque fired in my kiln for approx 24 hours. After being bisque fired they will be stained to enhance your texture and gloss green glaze will be applied to the leaf. After a final 24 hours in the glaze fire you will be contacted to pick up your treasure. This 2 1/2 hour workshop is $85.00 which includes your reserved space, personal instruction, tools and materials, stains, glazes, and 2 kiln firings. If time allows you may create additional pumpkins at a cost of $35. each. All reservations are non refundable. We reserve the right to cancel and refund if minimum requirement is not met.
