In recognition of SiTS Silver Anniversary we are honoring Family on October 1st with this combined celebration of Salute to Unsung Sheroes, A Breakfast of Champions and CPR Youth Group (the SiTS Family). Sisters in The Struggle, (SiTS) was born out of the 1997 Million Women March held in the city of ‘sistahly’ love, Philadelphia, PA. Through our belief in the Divine order for the universe, cultural awareness, community empowerment, and the promotion of volunteerism, SiTS provides access to information and develops culturally based programs such as: CPR – Cultural Project Rejuvenation, our youth group; “Salute to Unsung Sheroes”(celebrating the sisterhood); and  A Breakfast of Champions (celebrating the brotherhood).  Additionally, SiTS produces Sitting w/ The Sister Minister, a live weekly information/advocacy internet radio broadcast every Friday, 1-2 PM (EST) on churchtalkradio.com that support organizations, issues and events which foster positive change and progress in our local, state, national and global communities. SiTS recognize the importance of working in ‘common unity and celebrate partnerships of the same.
