Hello all Audi mechanics. I have a 2007 Audi a4 b7 2.0T Quattro automatic that has a no crank no start problem. I left the grocery store back to my car and noticed that it wouldn't crank or start. I played with the key/ignition and Park/drive settings for a minute and finally it started. The following morning in my drive way I had the same issue and it has not cranked or started since. The car's dash lights will come on but again no crank no start.
Trouble shooting: I changed a 614 relay under the ECU. I also changed the ignition switch and starter and still no crank no start. I need someones help getting under the car and testing the signal from the ignition to the starter. Might be a broken wire or this could be a ground issue somewhere. Either way, I am taking care of someone and cannot really work on this car for any length of time. Lets get on the phone and make sure its worth it for you to come here. My regular Audi guy is 1000 miles away. I will gladly pay someone cash to get the car started.
More info: I am the original owner of this car. I also noticed a drain on my battery. I have had to charge it a few times. Ground issue?
If you are not an Audi guy or girl please don't bother. These cars seem to be in a class by themselves.
