Variant 6 sings madrigals in a kaleidoscope of texts and sounds: medieval prayers set by Benjamin Britten, a Dowland song deconstructed by Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen, traditional Berber chants arranged by Edith Canat de Chizy, and a set of madrigals in the exuberant and inventive musical style of Paul Hindemith. Our sole a cappella show, Variant 6 explores how text and music can intertwine in strange and beautiful ways. ALL TICKETS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION.
