Automotive/Heavy Duty HVAC tech needed indefinitely for work in Houston and surrounding suburbs. In this position, you will provide technical support and technical services on buses to Houston Metro as an HVAC technician. While you are expected to possess general knowledge of automotive HVAC, system=specific knowledge is not required. You will be provided some system-specific training and access to a product support hotline to help you perform system repairs and maintenance tasks. You will be able to make your own schedule, however you must dedicate adequate time to the work so it gets done and is done correctly. Must have experience working on automotive, truck, or bus HVAC systems. Current EPA Section 608 or 609 certification is required. Must know general principles of HVAC system maintenance. Must have experience working on 12v and 24v automotive electrical systems. Must have or be able to provide your own tools, including laptop, fall protection, hand tools (wire stripper, screwdriver, etc), and battery powered or pneumatic hand tools such as a drill, or air socket wrench. Some special tools may be available if required for job.
