Workshop attendance is for a parent/caregiver+child/children. Whether headed out to preschool, elementary school or activities for the day, getting out the door in the morning is a challenge.
Kids love to push boundaries. Parents and kids THRIVE on predictability. Join us for this 90 minute session where we will support each other and provide professional guidance. You will walk away feeling ready to conquer these school mornings! Parent discussion lead by licensed family therapist and founder of Evolve Family Therapy, Bonnie McDaniel, who has decades of experience as both a parent and early childhood educator. We will cover how routines give kids a sense of SECURITY and help them develop SELF-DISCIPLINE, and provide STRATEGIES to ensure effective routines that actually work in your home.
While the parent is in the session, founders of Craft Art Expressions Carmen Booth, MSW and Lauren Marica, MPA (both experienced mothers of young children and experienced in early childhood education) will lead the children through age-appropriate activities to explore getting ready morning routines to have happy, less stressful mornings for everyone. Stories, art, sensory activities, movement and a special visit to the music room are planned.
Refreshments will be provided at the end of the workshop.
