“Scales and Tales” is an annual event for Pack 109 which introduces youth to a wide variety of animals, from owls to snakes, handled by humane and professional team at. During this event, families are also given the opportunity to learn more about the Cub Scout program in Forest Park and whether it is a good fit for their families.

Cub Scout Pack 109 is run by parent volunteers, all of whom have been trained in Youth Protection. Kiwanis Club of Forest Park is the Pack’s sponsor, and prospective families should know that there is no prerequisite to be part of any particular church or faith tradition. In fact, there are people of many backgrounds and faiths associated with this Pack and scouting in general.
