Kaiser Permanente Kern County is very excited to host our first Pediatric Care Open House event on Sunday, September 18 from 9 am to 12 noon, in conjunction with the Haggin Oaks Farmer's Market located at 8800 Ming Avenue, Bakersfield, 93311. We are opening our doors to the public, regardless of health plan or membership, to offer free COVID-19 and Flu vaccines to the community. All are welcome! There will be lots of interactive kid-friendly-family activities planned, such as face painting, snow cones, a cooking demonstration, and more! Parents can meet some of our Kaiser Permanente doctors, ask questions, and tour the medical office building. In partnership with the United Way of Kern County, we will also be collecting new books for children ages newborn to 14 years old, as part of their book drive. Come join the fun on September 18th!
