Every purse tells a story! Join us as we explore the history of the purse with local collector Megan Wojcik. This tour will take you back through history to revisit some of the swankiest parties in Pittsburgh, speakeasy raids, fashion icons and Hollywood royalty! You will also get to see, first-hand, 50 purses from the last century, from beaded to Lucite, basket weave to Bakelite, and everything in between. Most importantly, we will finally find out why women are hopelessly devoted to their handbags! Included in this presentation is a small bites tea luncheon. She has been collecting vintage purses ever since, amassing a collection that spans the 20th century.
