October on Ottawa Street Festival! October 15th from 11:00am to 11:00pmLive Entertainment. Beer Tent. Food. Drinks. Fun. Ottawa Ave, between Fulton and Weston, will be closed for the first annual October on Ottawa street festival, hosted by Social House Kitchen and Bar. Local musicians are bringing live music back -- in a big way! What is included in your ticket price? 5 Live Bands *Exclusive Headliners*Live DJ One drink ticketAccess to the tented festivalBe sure to join the Social House AFTER PARTY from 11pm - 2:00am Saturday night. 21+ only. All ticket sales are final. Volunteers welcomed. Ticket price will increase at the door. Questions & AnswersCan I buy tickets at the door? Yes! As long as it's not sold out, but prices will increase to $50. Are bags allowed? Clear bags are allowed. Bags will be searched Is this a social zone? Yes, but all alcohol will be contained to the fenced area. No drinks will be allowed in or out. Is this event 21 an up only? Yes. Valid ID is required for entry. Will the event be outside? Yes, but the festival will be under a tent. This event is rain or shine. If I leave, can I get back in? No, there is no re-entry. If you leave, you will have to wait until next year's festival to get back in (don't worry- we are already excited to see you then!) Will there be food? Handheld food will be sold. Think Burger, brats, and hot dogs. Where should I park? See below for some ideas as you plan ahead for the best way to get to the party. Where will the entrance be? Weston and Ottawa, near Bistro Bella Vita. Can I get a refund if the weather is bad? Unfortunately, no. This is a 'rain or shine event'. However, it's under a tent with sidewalls. ParkingPlan ahead! Note construction (Fulton/Monroe) Nearby Ramps/Lots Fulton & Ottawa Parking Ramp Fulton & Market Parking Lot (currently only accessible from 51 Market Ave SW Parking entrance) Area 2 Parking Lot (directly behind Van Andel Arena (keep note of events at the Van Andel) Studio Park(ing) Scooter/Bike- LIME Park at Monroe Center Parking Ramp Rosa Park Circle- public Parking Parking Cherry Commerce Monroe Parking (near the intersection) Uber/Lyft The Uber and Lyft drop off point will be moved to the corner of Weston and Cesar E Chavez. Bus Route The DASH (free service) and the GR City Bus will be rerouted around the street closure. Consider taking public transportation to avoid traffic and expensive parking.
