-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are looking for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our family and aid in the day-to-day development of our two small children (4mo & 4yrs). This role is an exciting opportunity in Cupertino, California right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Whether you are locally based here in the southern bay, or are willing to make the move from thousands of miles away (hint hint, Ohio or Maryland) - we are searching near and far to hire the best Assistant to meet our family’s needs and continue being a lifelong learner. Our ideal candidate: 1) MUST love music and have the natural ability to transmit the joy and feeling of a song through gestures, movements, dance, and silly faces. 2) Will understand why caring for and working with young children is one of the best jobs ever, and is not afraid to demonstrate their strongest role-model traits during our telephone interview. 3) Is willing to go into detail about age-appropriate activities they have done in the past or can improvise a few ideas during our call that will show creativity, patience, care, and safety. Once you have matched our personality traits with flying colors; continue reading for a preview of your daily responsibilities: A) KIDS - make time for music, walking activities, and preparing healthy foods. - play time, educational activities like puzzles and workbooks for the four-year-old, tracking potty times, sleeping schedules. - bath time, diaper changes, preparation for checkups. B) HOME -Meal preparations -Cleanup, trash, and maintenance resulting from childcare duties -Daily load of laundry for the household -Daily load of dishes for the household Still here? II. You must not not smoke. III. You must be willing to wear a mask during working hours. IV. You must be a lifelong learner, motivated to earn by more than just competitive pay; this role is responsible for the most important part of our household and you must own it with integrity and love for children, music, and safety. V. You must be cleared during a criminal background check. VI. You must be okey while working with a dog in the house. VII. You must submit your own résumé or letter of intent if you have a little less professional experience but are certain you match all of our criteria. Well that does it!
