Desperately in need of a vehicle

In Oct of 2021, my car was totaled, in Nov I lost everything in a house fire, in Dec I lost my significant other. When Jan rolled around, I decided to become a truck driver. Well, to say I was the world's worst truck driver would be an understatement, and finally, on July 25, they fired me. My old boss has asked me to come back to work at the hospital in Memphis, where I had previously done vascular ultrasounds. Prior to truck driving, that's what I did for 27+ years. My problem is that I do not have transportation. I am currently drawing my employment, which is barely enough to survive, certainly not enough to buy a vehicle, even if I could get approved for a loan. I am hoping there is someone out there who has an old clunker for around $1000 who would allow me to make payments. After I get back to work, it would take a very small amount of time to pay off. I know this is a longshot, but I have absolutely no support system/no resources. I'm currently living out in the country, the air conditioning is out and I have no refrigerator. (Poor me😂) I'm in a world of mess that some transportation could get me out of! Thanks for reading. Sorry this is so long.
