Medford Animal Hospital is searching for a kennel technician to join our team as Boarding Assistant! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are comfortable around small animals and are looking to kickstart their veterinary career! Primary responsibilities: • Sample collection • Animal handling, feeding, and cleaning • Medication administration • Assisting with front desk duties (answering phones, emails, etc.) • Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a veterinarian or technician about a change in one of the patients • The position is physical and involves a lot of standing and walking, lifting, and many chores throughout the hospital such as cleaning, dishes, restocking, garbage, and laundry This is a part-time role, comprised of four, four-hour shifts and one, nine-hour shift each week. We’re offering $13.50-$14.50 and excellent room for growth at our hospital.
