Volunteer tutors needed in DC elementary schools

Looking for in-person and virtual volunteers for elementary school students in our area. Reading Partners DC is looking for volunteers for both in-person and virtual tutoring to support elementary school students in our area. We work with 23 elementary schools in DC, Bunker Hill ES is the closest one to me. The minimum commitment is an hour a week with the same student and we train you in how to use our curriculum (it is easy to use). Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and volunteers over the age of 18 must be able to clear a background check process. New tutors must attend a tutor orientation and set a schedule with our staff before tutoring.
