Professional Indie Rock/Pop band looking for a new bassist and dedicated bandmate. Background vocals are a big plus. Must have a solid sound with good gear, chops, calendar flexibility to play regionally and tour, and be familiar with the indie rock/indie pop genre. Rehearse at least 2 nights a week. Not a work for hire situation. We have a private rehearsal space and PA in South Austin and a nice van. We play gigs at some of the best venues in Austin, tour nationally, and have worked with Grammy nominated producers/engineers. Have multiple releases, licensed our music used in MTV programming, named one of Austin Monthly Magazines "10 Bands to Watch," were an official showcase artist in both SXSW, and CMW (Toronto, CA). For fans of: Neon Trees, The Strokes, Walk the Moon, Panic at the Disco. MUST provide links/video samples of your playing/performance to be considered.
