A manufacturing company located in the Glendale, AZ is looking for a warehouse assistant. Must be reliable, dependable and willing to learn from owner and senior personnel. This position is key in supporting the business. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m, no weekends. If project, seasonal or additional hours are needed, they are arranged in advance. Required training is provided. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform scheduled inspections of tanks, pools, pumps, hoses, valves, etc. - Maintain warehouse, clean and organize - Bottle product, box product and stock product - Pull product orders for delivery or pickup - Load or assist in loading delivery vehicles - Keep product organized on the warehouse floor - Track inventory of finished products, labels and packaged products - Ensure parts and equipment are clean and stored properly - Keep facility safe and operating efficiently - Comply with warehouse procedures for safety and security - Assist with opening/closing of warehouse as needed - Create reports for owner and front office related to warehouse duties - Make deliveries with a valid driver's license a plus - Ask questions and learn continually - Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States - Valid driver's license is a plus, but not required - Able to lift 50+ lbs. - Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary, will train - Exposure to seasonal heat and cold - Exposure to noise and dust Experience working with and repairing mechanical systems a big plus.
