Capital Canyon Golf Club is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Maintenance person to join our team. General Purpose: Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, pool & spa, water treatment facility, grounds and other areas as required. Essential Duties:  Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.  Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior and interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trashcans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, cleaning windows and arranging outdoor furniture.  Daily housekeeping responsibilities to include cleaning restrooms and stocking the fitness facility.  Maintains pool facility including but not limited to: daily cleaning of pool, balancing chemicals, cleanliness of restrooms, cleaning and organizing the pool deck.  Basic knowledge of a Waste Water Treatment Plant. Responsible for taking daily readings and completing daily process for the plant. Further education is available for qualified applicant.  Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.  Willing to work weekends, holidays and on-call shifts and have regular and reliable attendance.  Performs other duties as required. Education/Experience: High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Demands: Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds. Environment/Noise: Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: No certifications or licenses are required. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences • Basic electrical knowledge preferred • Pool and spa experience preferred but not required • Basic waste water treatment knowledge preferred or willing to learn Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
