We are Looking for Mikey the Cat, adopted from Austin Humane Society, 124 W. Anderson Lane on March 16th, 2022. We previously adopted him from Austin Humane Society as an already adopted and returned cat, he was in poor condition, dehydrated and very underweight. We adopted him and owned him for 14 months! We got him really healthy and 18 lbs, as he is a very tall and large cat. He wasn't getting along with our adopted female cat, (we thought at the time) who is very short and small, was maybe a runt? so we reluctantly returned him to the AHS shelter at their advice. Well, now we realize that was a Big mistake and how much a member of our family he really was! We had never owned a male and female cat together, so we didn't realize their behavior was probably normal. We're a retired couple that miss him every day! Our female cat obviously misses him as well! If you are his current owner and don't want to give him up, we would be very happy just to visit him and even cat sit for free, just so we could still see him! We really just want and need to know that he is ok! If you know where he is, we would appreciate you contacting us! Reward for his location/owner, or if you are the current owner, we will even buy him back if we can!? Thanks!
