I am an up and coming musician, 25 years old, brand new to LA. I have been working to the bone trying to bring my vision to life. My name is Salvahlo - CombIning the names of Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo to represent my Mexican and Spanish heritage. I live and breathe art, it has saved me many times and will continue to do so. I say that I am a 'Modern Surrealist' and I anticipate evoking the subconscious mind with the power of words. I say my genre is my own, I call it 'Digital Abstraction'.. as you can see, I am somebody who creates a world to get lost in. I want to be a prime example of turning pain into gain. I take a lot of inspiration from Kurt Cobain and tell myself that I want to continue where he would have left off if he was still here. Kurt said he would have definitely planned on going experimental in the future. I like to take inspiration from anyone or anything I have ever known and loved; in sound, sight, touch, whatever it may be. I have been working alone for the past two years, I have a producer in Russia and together we have composed some really well done explosive songs with classical elements. The songs are guitar driven. I have always been a visual artist, I would often imagine the setting of a song, the storyline, twisted ending. Little did I know I would soon come to create my own. I am in pursuit of anyone that would like to talk music; an exquisite conversation about art and a potential collaboration. I am open to meeting any and every type of artist out there. I have a vision, I’m chasing it out here. Would love to connect with other creatives!
