We are currently seeking a Maintenance Porter to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, appearance and safety standards of our apartment buildings in Somerville, New Jersey. You will be working closely with our Maintenance Supervisor and reporting to our Property Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common spaces including lobby, office, fitness center etc.
2. Assist superintendent with trash removal
3. Physically walk the property on a frequent basis and remove litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds
4. Assist with "make-ready" duties when requested by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
5. Help clean and maintain storage areas
6. Perform interior and exterior painting duties when requested
7. Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
8. Complete apartment cleaning turnovers in a timely fashion
HOURLY: $17-$20 depending on experience
Location: Somerville, NJ
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30-5pm
*MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
