This sweet sweet boy desperately needs a good life with a family who will give him the love and attention he craves and deserves. Apparently his POS owner is "trying to get rid of him" just like she did with her previous pup when she got tired of it, so basically, he's been abandoned. My neighbors and I have been feeding him & making sure he's got water, but we all have our own pets & as much as we'd like to, cannot give him what he needs. He has not been vetted, so no shots, chip, etc. He's estimated to be around 3-4 months old and is already mid-sized. We think he's probably a Lab mix, and will grow to be about that size. He's gentle and gets along VERY well with other dogs AND cats and will no doubt be great with children, as well. Oh, and he LOVES to play in the water! He's SUCH a good boy. He's gonna need a home where he has outdoor access to run and play and just be active. Remember, he's just a big puppy going through the standard puppy stages that require patience and training, but he is SO very smart and at the perfect age to soak it all in and learn quickly. CRITICAL UPDATE: I'm reaching out in a desperate attempt to save this puppy. Last night the same POS lady that put him out to fend for himself in the first place has was trying to lasso him to dump him on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere!!! I lied & told her I knew someone who wanted him so she'd leave him alone, but when she sees he's still here tomorrow she's just gonna try to do it again. I'd call the cops, but I know she'll just deny it then turn around and do it just for spite! I have posted a10 second video on my FB page of him at play to show how sweet & gentle he is. Animal Defense League was the only place that responded but they can't take him in until January! I don't know what else to do!
