Due to the insane cost of living in CA and lack of living wage jobs you either have to be extremely wealthy or poor enough to live on government assistance. No way you can be middle class because of the highest taxes in the nation, highest cost of housing in the nation, highest gas food etc. Everyone I know has left or plans to leave CA soon. Eventually all you will have in CA is the extreme Wealthy ( living in gated communities of course) and Tens of Millions of homeless and Tens of Millions of Illegals all living on government assistance. CA claims to have a cash surplus but the hidden obligated debt of CA is now close to 7.6 Trillion.
