Guitarist and Singer looking for a few gigging partners

Description

I am a guitarist and singer with previous gigging experience in an alternative rock band. Short story, I got exhausted trying to gig 2-3 times a month and managing all of the bands affairs. I am looking to start gigging in a more low-key setting, using my share of the gigging money to record an ep or album of songs I have written over the last few years. I play acoustic and electric guitar, as well as enough uke, mandolin, and banjo to have fun on a few songs. I would love to find a bassist, celloist, or pianist to hold down the low end and rhythm with me, as well as another instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, banjo, brass) to play lead lines and what not. I currently am envisioning coffee shop gigs and house parties/events we get invited to. While I am opening to cover just about anything in an acoustic style, the specific artists I have in mind when it comes to covers and my own writing style are Dave Matthews, James Taylor, Mumford and Sons, Tom Petty, Nickel Creek, Grateful Dead, The National, and even a few Ray Charles songs. I would love to practice once a week or 2-3 times a month, and gig no more than once a month (but heavily leaning towards every other). I am far more interested in playing a few solid gigs a year with a decent turn out than to play all the time. I am also trying to keep this group to a trio at the moment, so drummers, one day I would love to expand :) Reach out if you would like to get coffee to talk music or would like to jam. P.S. even if you are not interested in my project, I miss being connected to the music scene in the area, so am happy to get coffee or play a one-off open mic song with you!
