Description

The Heavy Equipment Operator II will operate various types or classes of heavy equipment in order to complete construction projects. This position may also be assigned Laborer duties, when needed. At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment; Ability to work with minimal direct supervision; Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memorandums in English; Ability to read and understand stakes; Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently with attention to detail; Reliable transportation; and Available to work weekend or holiday shifts, as scheduled. High school diploma or equivalent; Basic mechanical knowledge First Aid or CPR training; Valid Class C driver’s license; and Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current motor vehicle record (MVR), with no serious accidents or traffic violations. *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
