* Needs a home with experienced dog owners* Personally: Sweet and loving when he knows you. He is wary of new people- but that is a breed trait. He ALWAYS wants to be with people. ALWAYS. He is good with other dogs, as far as I have seen at least. I have a shepherd and so does my mom and he's been fine with them. Socialization: He isn't too socialized but not under socialized either. I have taken him to kids baseball games and walks and he does well. He gets a little unsure when a dog approaches, but warms up quickly. Behaviors: He can be difficult at times. He needs some serious training but he is smart and learns quickly. He is used to a crate but still has accidents in the crate. He chews if left unattended. Though he has walked on leash multiple times, he still needs work in this area but is not horrible. We have 5 acres here and he runs off leash the majority of the time, however his recall needs work. He will come to you if he wants to but if he doesn’t feel like listening- it’s a chase, which we do not entertain. We walk inside and he eventually follows. He will need work in this area. He is very flighty with new situations or if he thinks he’s in trouble. He LOVES to play with his ball. We have a chuck it tennis ball and he loves it. will be UTD on rabies 9/3. He is a super smart, super loving pup but needs to be more active. We have land yes, but we both work. He is bored here. Due to his behaviors he is not able to be free roaming in the house with my shepherd while we are at work as we had hoped. So as hard as it is to accept, we have come to the conclusion that he deserves better than we are giving him. I don’t think he would get any greater joy than to go on a daily run, hunting or simply hiking. Running is his absolute favorite thing to do. He is not neutered.
