Hello! I have a two year old, fixed female border collie - husky mix that I need to find a new home for. This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know that Althea deserves a life that I cannot give her right now and finding her her forever home is the right thing to do. Althea is a very sweet girl. She loves to snuggle and is super funny and playful. She needs a backyard and someone with the time and energy to spend with her daily getting out that energy and working on training. She has anxiety around leaving the house, and has been prescribed Prozac by her vet to help with this in combination with training. Althea would do best in a home with no children. She is unsure of kids and they scare her. I’ve tried to work with her on this, but I am hardly around children, making it difficult. I just want to find her the best possible situation. She’s my baby and I wish more then anything I could provide for her what she needs, and coming to the conclusion that I can no longer do that is heart breaking. Please message me with any questions.
