Mt. Pleasant Trophy and Awards Shop has a great work position for people looking for part time work. We are open weekdays and are somewhat flexible with hours for the right people. These positions are great for folks seeking variety. A typical day will include assembling trophies, name badges, plaques and other awards. You’d also be trained on sand etching of glass, running sublimation machines, and possibly engraving plates using a laser engraver. Sometimes there are air filters needing replacement, light bulbs that need to be changed, and garbage that needs to be dumped. In a small business, there are many hats that are worn. Every day offers variety. The ideal candidates show up when they are scheduled (flexible scheduling), believe in providing quality work (after all, a person being recognized for excellence should be proud of their award), be a problem solver (folks come in all the time with some item they’d like us to attach to a base or plaque), be mechanically inclined and work well with others. We need you to be able to do basic math and be able to read a ruler! This position is good for 2 part time people or a full time person. We offer no benefits except hourly pay and a good working environment.
