The Hankins / Johnson Education Foundation Golf Classic will take place on September 23, 2022; which allows casual golfers and enthusiast alike to Swing, Slice, Chip and Putt with a Purpose. HAVE SOME DRINKS BEFORE YOU HIT THE LINKS On September 22, DJ Andre Mack is hosting our Pre-Golf Classic Happy Hour where he will be spinning Hip-Hop, R&B, Old School, House and Dance Music. If if you don't golf, you're invited to have a good time with the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha and aid in our efforts to raise money for the youth of Orlando. All Proceeds Will Benefit The Hankins / Johnson Education Foundation's Initiatives ABOUT THE FOUNDATION The I.S. Hankins – F.A. Johnson Education Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, in conjunction with the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter (DXL) of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., will host our 1st annual Hankins Johnson Education Foundation Golf Classic on September 23, 2022. Registration and practice facilities available at 7:30 am. Shotgun, Scramble at 8:30 am. Lunch and awards and prizes at 1:30 pm. Proceeds will fund our scholarships, Young Men of Distinction (YMOD) mentoring, head start initiative, and other foundation programs and initiatives. We awarded $31,500 in scholarships this year. A member of our YMOD program was his class valedictorian. We delivered over 650 books and large quantities of supplies to three head start centers in Orange County.
